About the Instructor
Alejandra Abad is a Swiss-Ecuadorian artist whose work is a vivid exploration of self-expression and discovery. Influenced by music, dance, nature, and the diverse spectrum of human experiences, her paintings are infused with intensity and emotion.
Alejandra has exhibited her art in New York, Barcelona, Milan, and Zurich. In 2024 she had her first solo exhibition at Mario Botta's Fiore di Pietra. Her work has been featured in British Vogue, alongside a collaboration with On Running. 2025 culminated with an exhibition in Miami at Soho House during Art Basel, and began with exhibitions in Saudi Arabia and the Swiss Alps.
Beyond her artistic achievements, Alejandra is deeply committed to making a positive impact. She supports the Association Cuisine Sans Frontières by donating part of her painting sales to Project El Fogon in the Ecuadorian Amazon Forest, an initiative that fosters education in gastronomy.
