The Design room at Torro is conceived as a space for a process that often begins abstractly with sketches, references, or digital explorations and gradually evolves into defined outcomes.
The space is intentionally clear and adaptable, allowing different ways of working to coexist. Whether focused on visual design, layout, digital tools, or conceptual thinking, the setup encourages both concentration and iteration. Surfaces and screens are arranged to support a fluid workflow.
We kindly ask you to bring your own laptop which can be connected to our setup.
Over time, it becomes a space not just to produce, but to think, to develop creativity, build structure, and shape ideas into something tangible.

Can I join the design classes as a complete beginner?
Our design programme includes classes for every level. If you're just getting started, beginner-friendly workshops such as Photoshop Fundamentals or Getting Started with Figma will help you build a strong foundation and gain confidence with the software. We also offer more advanced classes for those looking to expand their skills, explore specific techniques, or deepen their creative practice.

Do I need to bring my own laptop?
Yes, for classes that require digital work, you will need to bring your own computer with the necessary software installed, including an active Adobe license. This ensures you can fully follow along and work directly on your own projects during the session.

Do I need to prepare anything before the class?
No, you don’t need to prepare anything in advance. We guide you throughout the session and provide all the necessary materials for practice during the class.

How do I know which class is right for me?
Each class includes a recommended experience level and a detailed description of what you'll learn, making it easy to find the right fit. If you're new to design, we recommend starting with beginner-friendly classes such as Photoshop Fundamentals or Getting Started with Figma, where you'll build a solid foundation. If you already have experience, you can explore our more advanced classes focused on specific techniques, creative workflows, and real-world projects. If you're ever unsure, our team is always happy to help you choose the class that best matches your goals and experience.

What happens if I miss my class?
Classes are non-refundable in case of no-show or cancellations made less than 2 days in advance. If you notify us at least 48 hours before your session, we can assist you with rescheduling subject to availability.

Aleksandra Pluzhnik
Sketching & Design Instructor
Artist and UX/Product designer with over a decade of experience, Aleksandra brings a thoughtful and supportive approach to both analogue art and digital design. Her teaching focuses on building strong creative foundations while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and experimentation.
In her drawing sessions, she guides you through perspective, composition, sketching techniques, and acrylic work, helping you translate ideas naturally onto paper, whereas in the design room, she supports you in shaping concepts into thoughtful and functional digital experiences.
