Act IV. Hearing.
The Shape of Sound.

In this interactive workshop, you'll explore the relationship between sound and graphic design through the invisible language of vibration. Inspired by the principles of cymatics, you'll witness how sound frequencies transform fine sand into intricate geometric patterns, revealing the hidden structures that exist within every vibration.

Experimenting with different frequencies, you'll observe how each sound generates its own unique visual composition. Once you've created a pattern that resonates with you, you'll capture it digitally and use it as the foundation for your own graphic design piece. Whether as a background, texture, or central visual element, your sound-generated composition becomes the starting point for designing a poster or visual artwork that translates hearing into graphic expression.

Blending science, design, and creative experimentation, this workshop invites you to rethink sound as a visual material and discover how invisible forces can become powerful design tools.
