About
Torro Studio

Torro was created from a simple observation:
access to creative spaces is often limited or fragmented.

We wanted to bring different disciplines together under one roof and make them genuinely accessible, without compromising on quality.

Designed as both a studio and social space, Torro brings together pottery, painting, photography, and design within a calm, contemporary environment made for creativity.

Torro Studio is a multidisciplinary creative space in Zurich dedicated to modern craft, artistic exploration, and thoughtful making.

Our workshops are open to everyone, while members benefit from unlimited access to the studio for independent practice. Whether you come with experience or curiosity, the space is designed to support experimentation, learning, and connection in a welcoming environment.

More than a place to attend classes, the studio is built for people who want creativity to become part of their everyday lives.

A slower approach to creativity

We believe in

Craft as Identity

The act of making defines who we are.

“The most personal
is the most creative”
– Martin Scorsese

Intentionality

Every piece of clay, brushstroke, sketch or pigment has integrity and meaning.

Premium yet raw

An elevated environment that honors experimentation, imperfection and authenticity.

Real, raw and handmade.

Community as a catalyst

Collaboration fuels curiosity and courage. We grow together.

Albane has always been drawn to creative worlds.

What began through photography gradually evolved into production, creative direction, and work within agency environments shaped by image, aesthetics, and storytelling.

In 2022, she began exploring clay as a more tactile and personal form of expression: creating handmade pieces for her home that reflected both her love for hosting and her appreciation for thoughtful craftsmanship.

She is endlessly inspired by the dialogue between different disciplines and the way creative practices naturally influence one another.

Louise is driven by the art of connection.

Louise has spent more than ten years working in graphic design, building a practice shaped by visual precision, thoughtful details, and a strong sensitivity to atmosphere.

Over the years, she developed a refined eye not only for aesthetics, but for the feeling a place leaves behind. Louise loves how small details, conversations, and human interactions shape a sense of belonging.

She is naturally drawn to environments that bring people together, believing that creativity is as much about community as it is about visual expression.
