The Painting room at Torro, like every other art room, hosts both guided classes and open studio sessions. Classes cover sketching fundamentals, composition and perspective, and hands-on work with acrylics, charcoal, or other mediums combining technical exercises with more expressive, exploratory approaches inspired by artists and movements.
The space supports working across sketching, charcoal, acrylics, and mixed techniques. It is designed to give structure where needed while allowing space for personal exploration, whether you are building foundations or developing your own visual language.
Open, calm, and adaptable, the room provides generous work areas and a curated selection of materials, making it easy to shift between methods and ideas.
Painting here is about slowing down, observing, and building work layer by layer, developing both skill and an individual way of seeing.

Of course! Our painting classes are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. Our instructors guide you step by step in a relaxed studio environment, so you can explore and create with confidence from the very start.

You can wear anything you feel comfortable in. Aprons are provided for all classes, and paint washes out easily in the washing machine if it gets on your clothing.

For each workshop one canvas of a defined size as well as paint is included with no additional fees for collection.
Your piece is always included in the workshop price, as part of our one price policy. -
Yes! Larger canvas sizes are available upon request. You can speak to your teacher or our studio team at the start of the session to check availability and the corresponding upgrade fee.

Workshops are non-refundable in case of no-show or cancellations made less than 2 days in advance. If you notify us at least 48 hours before your session, we can assist you with rescheduling subject to availability.

Painting Instructor

Aleksandra Pluzhnik
Sketching & Design Instructor
Artist and UX/Product designer with over a decade of experience, Aleksandra brings a thoughtful and supportive approach to both analogue art and digital design. Her teaching focuses on building strong creative foundations while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and experimentation.
In her drawing sessions, she guides you through perspective, composition, sketching techniques, and acrylic work, helping you translate ideas naturally onto paper, whereas in the design room, she supports you in shaping concepts into thoughtful and functional digital experiences.
